Privacy policy

Astarael Curator is a personal tool with one user, its owner. It runs on the owner's own computer.

When the owner signs in with Google, the tool receives a token that lets it read the owner's YouTube subscriptions and subscribe to channels on the owner's behalf. The token is stored only on that computer, in a file readable by the owner alone. It is never sent to any other server and never shared with anyone.

The tool stores what it reads (video titles, captions, article text) in a local database on the same computer. Nothing is sold, published, or used for advertising. Removing the token file, or revoking the app's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, ends the tool's access at once.
